Healthcare providers are required to take reasonable steps to protect against data loss, unintended recipients and privacy breaches. Encryption of patient information during transmission is considered best pratice.

If you don’t already have an account with ConnectSafe, signing up is easy. We have established an extensive database of dental practitioners, meaning that most users will be pre-registered and it is just a matter of taking control of your account. To transfer files securely, simply select the recipient, upload your file(s) and our encryption algorithms will take care of the rest.
Once uploaded, files are stored in an encrypted form and their content cannot be viewed by anyone. Only the intended recipient is authorized to download the files, at which point they will be de-encrypted and the content available.
After files are downloaded by a recipient, they are immediately deleted from our servers. We do not store patient information long term.
We support all major file types including PDF, Word documents, JPEG, TIFF, PNG. We suggest using PDF for text documents.
Use of ConnectSafe is restricted to registered health practitioners.
You can reset your password using your registered email address. Our encryption scheme means that if you have a file waiting to download and you forget your password, you will need to ask the sender to resend the file - this can be done easily through our user dashboard
Passwords should ideally be at least 8 characters long, and include a mixture of letters, numbers, and special charaters like # or %. More details can be found at this link.
Signing up to ConnectSafe and receiving files is free and always will be. Our pricing structure is designed to be highly competitive with postage costs. As an introductory offer, new users can send 10 files for free. After that, we charge a flat monthly fee for the ability to send files.
